Volunteer Nominations Due

The Town of Stellarton and Recreation Department is seeking nominations for the Francis “Bud” MacKay Memorial Award.

If you or your organization is aware of an outstanding volunteer who is a resident of the Town of Stellarton or volunteers for a Stellarton organization, please submit their name to Stellarton Recreation on the enclosed form. The nominee does not have to be someone from your organization. The recipient of this award will represent Stellarton at the Provincial Volunteer Award ceremony in Halifax in April. All nominees will be honoured at our local recognition social in April. The Town of Stellarton will still be holding its annual Volunteer Recognition Reception, and will be forwarding details in March. Any nomination forms submitted after the February 9th deadline will still be honoured at our local ceremony. Deadline is Wedesday Feb 14, 2018
