Stellarton Police Remind Residents to Lock Up for Safety!

Stellarton Police are investigating multiple reports of thefts from vehicles. Especially with the holiday season upon us, residents are reminded to be vigilant with locking their vehicles.

Stellarton Police Service is investigating multiple reports of thefts from vehicles that occurred over the last month. Entry into these vehicles has been gained through unlocked doors.

Police are reminding residents to: 
- Lock your vehicle - even when parked in your own driveway.
- Never leave valuables in your vehicle, especially in plain view. Take your wallet/purse with you when you leave your vehicle.
- Leave outside lights or motion sensors on.

 The investigations into these incidents are ongoing and we encourage anyone who observes suspicious activity in or around parked vehicles or in their neighbourhood to call police immediately at (902) 752-6160.
